L.A. Guns started in 1982 as a straightup dirty ass rock n roll band.
The band was put together by Tracii Guns in his last year of high
school. The band has had some noteable members such as Axl Rose, Phillip Lewis
and Jizzy Pearl, but continues today with band members Marty Casey (the Singer)
Jeremy Guns
(the Bass Player) Chad Stewart (the Drummer), and of course
Tracii Guns
(the Guitarist) and Alec 'Big Al' Bauer (The other Guitarist)L.A. Guns
has been a work in progress without an end in sight, continually touring and
of course writing and recording a huge variety of rock n roll sounds. Some people
believe that L.A. GUNS may be the last true rock n roll band that hasn’t had to
rely on outside writers or the help or corporate funding to have continued success.

The success of this band is solely dictated by the loving,
intelligent and hell raising fans!!!!!!!

Pat Travers was born in Toronto, Canada on April 12, 1954.
Soon after picking up the guitar at age 12 Pat saw the legend
Jimi Hendrix perform in Ottawa. This obvious inspirational concert
must have sparked the young Pat to go after the dream of
becoming a star like so many of his early influences. Inspired by
such guitarists as Hendrix, Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page,
Pat began playing in bands early in his teens. His first bands were
"Red Hot" and "Merge" who played in Quebec area clubs. While the
early years were hard, they would eventually pay off in the form of
improved musicianship, style, and exposure.
